Ridiculous Emails

  • Amazon Review: Deep Impact: Someone really, really hates this soundtrack.
  • Anna and Pilar clean boys' room: When James, Luke and I (freshman roommates) finished our year in June, we wanted to get the hell out, but unfortunately we sort of forgot to clean the room. Luckily for us, Anna and Pilar had been so enchanted with us all year that they decided to clean our room. Or it was just abject pity.
  • Asian Khai: This is hilarious.
  • C++ author gets disgruntled: My brother Maneesh found out that some of the compiler instructions from his book weren't working, so he emailed the author. Sadly, he sort of pestered the author.
  • Children's Books You'll Never See: Well, you won't.
  • Removal of Copyrighted Material Notice: This is possibly my favorite email of all time. Start from the top and read a copyright-infrigement notice from Stanford's Computer Security Office to a student.
  • Mario Brothers: I like them.
  • Indians and Why Cal Sucks: Watch this.
  • Help him: This is incredibly sad. Someone who needs 1--ONE--unit to graduate and has to send this email out is a down-ass student.
  • Bizarre exchange with someone: I still don't get this. Beginning one day in April, someone emailed me out of the blue and started the weirdest email correspondence I've ever had.
  • Alien Video: Watch the whole thing.
  • Street sign: What city is this?
  • Barbie dolls: The new 2002 models, maybe.
  • I will be killed!!!: When my little brother's friend asked for my email address "for future purposes," I was a little skeptical. So, I gave him an email address that I hardly ever check. Then I got this email. Read his response; at least he has a sense of humor.
